School Engagement Scale – Behavioral, Emotional, and Cognitive Engagement

This survey includes three validated scales for measuring different aspect of engagement: behavioral engagement, emotional engagement, and cognitive engagement. This scale takes about 30 minutes to administer and can be administered to groups of students, if necessary. Rationale

The behavioural, emotional and cognitive aspects all seem to focus on the student's ability to express how one is feeling and how manages himself/herself. The cognitive engagement category explores students' motivations for learning.
